Demos

We are currently showing a range of Cisco, IBM, Microsoft, VMware and Oracle solution demos; in addition, our Role Based Demonstration showcases how Logicalis integrates both networking and computing technologies into ‘a business solution’ – incorporating portal, collaboration and self-service technology and applications.

Roles-Based Demonstration

The Logicalis self-service portal showcases the experience of three individuals: a Contact Centre agent; a local citizen; and a CEO. The demo features unified communications, contact centre, SOA, eForms and Dashboard technologies to provide secure information capture; intelligent, personalised delivery of process and information; graphical, customisable KPIs and decision support tools; one-click access to the right people, inside and outside the organisation; and powerful collaboration and communication tools for rapid, effective major incident response.

Oracle Maximum Availability Architecture on System z Linux

A demonstration of Oracle's Maximum Availability Architecture (MAA) using Oracle10g RAC on the highly available IBM System z platform using Linux running under z/VM. The demonstration presents 'business as usual' Oracle RAC features, including cluster management using Grid Control, and application load balancing. It highlights the use of advanced z/VM features to deploy additional cluster nodes rapidly without database downtime, and resulting in dynamic load balancing across all nodes.
